About Woodsmith
Woodsmith is a small carpentry workshop in Mauritius. We've spent over fifteen years building fitted furniture, kitchens and timberwork for island homes — and we still believe the best measure of a job is whether the client calls us back for the next one.
The team
We're a small crew by choice. The person who measures your job is the person who builds it, and the person who installs it answers the phone afterwards. No sales layer, no hand-offs — just craftsmen who stand behind their work.
Between us we cover design, joinery, spray finishing and installation, with trusted partners for stone worktops, glass and electrics when a project needs them.
The workshop
Everything we install is made in our own workshop — cut, jointed, sanded and finished here, so quality never leaves our hands. You're welcome to visit while your piece is being built; most clients find it the best part of the process.
Registered business
Woodsmith operates as a registered business in Mauritius. Formal quotations and invoices with VAT shown separately on every job.
Workmanship warranty
Every installation carries our written workmanship warranty. If a hinge loosens or a drawer sticks, we come back and make it right.
