The brief
A family heirloom sideboard arrived with water damage, lifting veneer, and a drawer that had not opened in years. It had been in the family for three generations and they were afraid to trust it to anyone.
How we solved it
We documented every stage, lifted and re-laid the veneer with hide glue, spliced reclaimed teak into the damaged plinth, freed and re-run the drawers, and finished the whole piece in traditional French polish. It left the workshop ready for another three generations.
